When to aerate Bermuda grass?

There are so many different "opinions" out there and I don't know who's advice to follow. I live in the desert southwest where the temperatures are regularly hitting 100 degrees. I have huge patches of grass that are dying. I have my sprinklers set to come on at 7am, three times a week for 25 minutes. First thing people assume is that I'm not watering the areas that are dying but I assure you that I have pretty good coverage. Next, some have said that I may have grub worms. Isn't the grass supposed to be able to be picked up like a rug since the roots have been eaten? Haven't found any evidence but I'm treating for grubs currently just in case. Finally, some think I may have a fungus. I don't know how to diagnose fungi but from the pictures I've seen online it doesn't match. Maybe I need to aerate? When's the best and/or worst times of the year to do this? I aerated my yard last June and lightly again at the beginning of this spring. I can't afford a machine so I'm forced to use a handheld step aerator. The grass that dies will turn a blue-ish grey for a day or two, then yellow. Huge patches mixed in with lush green healthy grass. I'm currently treating my yard in stages, insecticide (caged off due to pets), then followed by a fungicide a few days later. I know that these applications are probably to close together but I'm so frustrated that I'm willing to try anything! I failed to mention that starting early spring, I have been fertilizing every 4-6 weeks. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

For four days I have had pain on one of my teeth, my dentist said I have Root Canal. To make problems worse I have a bridge over the affected tooth. Sadly, I can not pay for the root canal. Anybody else have this happen? 50% of the time I have to take a poo I get nauseated and feel like I will throw up. I don't think its IBS I'm lactose intolerant but I keep away from dairy... Is glacier snowboarding suitable for advanced beginners (read my case)?

I can ride pistes with red marking, but I am not really good at it because I have been snowboarding only 5-6 times in my life... all during the last winter. So I lack control, confidence, technique (I have learnt to snowboard all on my own, no teachers) etc. Now an opportunity is presented to me to go ride on a glacier during the summer. okay, so ghosts have never completely left me alone but they have never hurt me either. I'm 14 and I've been depressed for about two years now. And I just wanna be better. I never thought I'd be like this, and I wanna be happy again. But I miss not having to try. I have natural dark blonde hair. I recently used Revlon Frost & Glow with the pull through cap to give it some highlights. I love it! Okay this is embarrassing enough as it is and I hate to ask but what are some cheap and easy ways to get rid of stretch marks? I'm 13 bout to be 14, my height is 5'5-5'6 and I weigh 135ish (ive actually been trying to lose weight) im already really self conscious as it is and these stretch marks didn't help when I noticed how bad they are!! I have been chewing my nails for as long as I can remember, and I've taken a few different medications for OCD ( Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ) and Anxiety. The medication I can remember actually helping with nail biting has totally slipped my mind! I do remember it caused almost constant tremors though which is why I came off the medication. Husband claims i do nothing...advice?

And I did, but it wasnt long before I was cutting again. And again, my mom found out but I lied and told her they were old cuts, and she believed me and said nothing more. I've done better with the cutting but I've made other mistakes. I've smoked weed and drank. And I just don't wanna mess my life up! I havnt been able to sleep lately, all I wanna do is lay in bed an it seems like I'm always fighting with my mom. She doesn't know I'm hurting. And I'm glad because I just wanna get better on my own, but now I'm realizing that I'm not getting any better. I just want good things to happen. I'm a cheerleader and I have alot of good friends an I don't wanna mess that up. But at the same time I want to get better. I've attempted suicide twice but I'm not that selfish. So please help me! Ok so I have really light blonde hair. It is not this color naturally I dye it. I like the color but if i do not keep the roots up to date it looks really bad. 2 years ago I got my tonsils and adenoids( or whatever they are called taken out lol) and I was pretty overweight from the 3rd-6th grade I was bigger sizes then my friends i had a stomach and fat thighs I may have been overweight before that but just don't remember getting teased about it. I only notice the thing i get teased about. in the 6th grade( the year i got my tonsils out) I was probably a 5'3 and 145 pounds( at the beginning of the 6th grade). Then a few weeks after my surgery I was 5'5( i grew a few inches) and was 112 pounds. during that week was thanksgiving and my godmother saw me and knew I had my tonsils out pulled me aside and said Taylor, you look sick and anorexic you need to gain weight back fast!( she made my feel upset because i used to get hounded and teased for being overweight and i finally lose weight and then its a problem). which really pisses me off when she said that like i can just magically gain 20 pounds in a day! lol and a few other people though i was sick and some just said i looked skinny. im 14 now and at this moment i am overweight. i 140 pounds( last time i checked) and 5'6 I need to lose weight i hate how it just piles back on lol but i have been eating too much junk lately. any good plans i can stick to i want to weigh about 116-125 pounds would be a good weight for me. my clothes are kinda tight and i have fat thighs and a fat butt and a little fat on my stomach.

Why can't I think of any original music? Specifically the melody?

I wrote some lyrics, but for the life of me I can't think of ANY music! I can't just start to "plunk away" at a piano, sadly, I don't play instruments. Try yoga for 2 weeks with a good instructor. A friend of mine, (he's 28), felt VERY similar to how you are feeling and he took up yoga. Totally changed his outlook on everything. So theres this girl i've been talking to for a while now. On facebook and text cuz i never see her at school. So whenever we talk so like 6 times weve talked straight for 3 hours plus. Changing root permissions to user permissions in Ubuntu?

I'm using a USB drive as my main Ubuntu 10.10 installation. I have a HDD in my computer that I would like to use as "external" storage. I've successfully mounted the HDD as /home/user/HDD, but the permissions on the drive say root. Needless to say, I can't write to the HDD. How do I change the permissions to allow writing to the HDD? The general warming in the last 100 years is either natural, human caused, or both. It is probably both IMO but the question becomes do humans have a significant or harmful impact. Has our CO2 concentraitons driven the warming in the last century or would it have warmed anyway, either only a small amount or nearly all. I don't think any reasonable evaluation could conclude that humans have had a significant or harmful impact. I sure haven't seen any convincing evidence. Those who believe wanted to believe IMO.

Hi is there any way to restoring an iPhone thats not detected?

Basically I have an iPhone 4 that will not charge, will not be detected in iTunes, however whe the phone is turned off it turns back on when plugged in. I was going to go to the apple store but it is using iOS 5 beta, which I bought a slot on a developers account. I'm guessing if I went into the genius bar they would see iOS 5 installed and it will magically not be covered by warrenty am I right about this? Also if I am, is there a way to restore the iPhone back to the normal firmware (I know this is possible due to apple still distributing and I did it the other day for someone elses) Basically, is there any way for itunes to detect, the mac has no clue that I have plugged it in though, and neither does windows.
