How to you root the Htc Aria 2.2.2 Froyo?

Hi, I know there is alot of videos on youtube on how to root your Htc Aria but none of them seem to work for me. I have the 2.2.2 OS and want to root it so i can get the Gingerbread OS. Please help me. Thank you.
