Ghost, Leave me and my animals ALONE!?

okay, so ghosts have never completely left me alone but they have never hurt me either. Spook me and scare me yes but hurt me or my pets, no! recently we have been redoing the paint, the decorations, and the floor of our house and i guess they are getting mad so they are trying to get me back in the biggest way they know they can! messing with my animals! -.- i have 4 gerbils and i keep a pair in a tank so i have those water bottles that you can hang upside down from the screen and yesterday i filled it up and 40 mins later i come back and its completely EMPTY! there are no cracks or holes and since its hanging, the gerbils could only reach to drink! and today really set me off! me and my mom were napping and i heard my puppy crying so i came downstairs and she was GONE from the kitchen so i went looking for her and found her TIED UP by a knot to a chair by the front door! no one could have tied her and she cant magically put on a leash and tie herself up! any suggestions on what to do?
