What should I major in if I want to travel the world and study different cultures and the people?

I want to travel and help as many people as I come in contact with. An ideal job for me would be a job where I am not working 24/7 but where I can travel the world and be myself and study different cultures and the inhabitants. If i could make a comfortable living(70k+ annually) that would be awesome as well. Like if i could go to europe, alaska, china, australia, mountains, glaciers, etc. Any ideas would be helpful, thanks!!
