Linex ubuntu live cd is a must to have to fix a dead pc ubuntu live can access all info on your pc..Malwarebytes is one of the best free remover there is ..comodo firewall is great also and AVIRA anti virus free edition..Not alot of tools are required but parts are..hard drives ,ram,burners,power supplys..And establish an account with say amazon and you can order stuff as you need it at there cost and you can raise it a bit to cover your time ..
